At Roche, over 80,000 people in 150 countries are involved in innovating healthcare on a daily basis. By preventing, treating and diagnosing a wide range of diseases, our products and services have improved health and quality of life worldwide. Roche Nederland is part of this global healthcare organisation. Based in Woerden, this pharmaceutical division has 190 employees involved in marketing, sales and clinical research. No production takes place in the Netherlands. In the first part of our presentation at the BCF Event, an overview will be given of the pharmaceutical market in The Netherlands and the position of Roche in that market. The development of Roche Nederland in the last 10 years will be reviewed, as well as the current strategies and challenges for future growth. In the second part, "Roche as employer" will be addressed, in The Netherlands as well as internationally. |

 Stephan Julsing has been a member of the management-team of Roche Nederland BV since 2008 as Director Rheumatology. Stephan has more than 15 years of experience as marketeer in the pharmaceutical as well as the clinical nutrition business. He has launched over 10 products on a national and international level for multinationals including Boehringer-Ingelheim, Numico and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Stephan has a passion for marketing of innovations in healthcare as well as for coaching of multidisciplinary teams. |
